My name is Indigo.
I am a non-traditional student at the University of New Mexico, majoring in Mass Communications with the emphasis on public relations. My minor is in art-- studio with the focus being photography.
Part of my goal here is to try doing a photo a day journal/blog... or something like that. Plus, I want to post the assigned pictures I have taken in classes. I'll also use this as a place to post and store the pictures I have archived else where and newer photos I take for whatever reason.
I have always preferred doing portraits to landscape or still life. I have a Canon T1I I use Adobe Photo Shop at home and lightroom at school to edit my pictures and although I am fairly proficient, I usually stick to just some cropping and color adjustments. I hope by being here, I will work harder to stretch my abilities.
